Weed Man, North America's largest franchise company, is expanding in the Kansas City area and we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor.
Our applicators fertilize and apply weed control to residential lawns. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, be punctual and have a great attendance record. The successful candidate will also recognize that our customers are our first priority! Must be over 21 with a good driving record. Willing to train the right person. See below for more information.
Responsibilities
Applying fertilizer, treating weeds and performing other professional applications
Interacting with customers and ensuring top-of-the-line service
Accurately measuring lawns, providing lawn care quotes
Completing lawn analyses and making service recommendations
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Advanced problem-solving skills
Proven time management
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
Willing to become certified to apply pesticides
Ability to carry up to 50 pounds, 8-10 hours per day
Able and willing to work in various weather conditions for long periods of time
Professional appearance
Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
Previous sales or industry experience is an asset but is not required
